09/2008 | Aravaipa Canyon, Graham County, AZ | A hiker treks farther upstream into Hell Hole Canyon, an entrenched meandering tributary canyon on the north side of Aravaipa Canyon. The canyon walls here are composed of Tertiary Hell Hole Conglomerate; well-indurated buff conglomerate composed mainly of volcanic debris including few beds of tuff and ash. (Photo by Joe Cook)
