03/2007 | Soza Canyon 7 ½’ quadrangle, Pima and Cochise Counties, AZ | Tephra bed exposed within well-cemented fanglomerate basin fill deposits east of the Rincon Mountains, west of the San Pedro River. Multiple generations of basin fill deposits exist in this setting. Degrees of dip due to syn-tectonic deposition, offset by faulting, level of consolidation, lithology provenance, and dateable tephras can be used to assign relative and absolute ages of deposition to these deposits.
