27 November 2013 | San Francisco volcanic field | Coconino County, AZ
Rogers Lake in northern Arizona with ice and a thin coating of snow. In the background center is San Francisco Peak - a large, young stratovolcano and the centerpiece of the San Francisco volcanic field. The Peaks were volcanically active from 1.2 million years before the present to about 200,000 years ago. (Photo by Ted Grussing, Sedona)
